Net of valuation changes. Starting November 2017, the BDL foreign assets include the Lebanese government's sovereign bonds issued in foreign currencies. The change in the BDL net foreign assets during the current year includes the net flow of the internationally traded Lebanese government’s sovereign bonds in foreign currencies that were acquired by BDL through the same year only. A non-resident private sector deposit, which occurred in August 2019, has been reclassified from "special long-term liabilities" to "foreign liabilities" in the BDL Balance Sheet.
