Reference month December 2013. Price data were not collected during January 2011, January to May 2013. The group level indexes for these periods have been estimated using linear interpolation adjusted for price change.

The main price collection method employed is the price survey on the field carried out by price collectors for an average of 50,000 goods per month based on the latest household expenditure survey. Uses the two stage modified geometric Lasperyes index.
